We decided to have a frame built in the main bedroom so that we can fit mirrored sliding doors. We are so happy with the frame, it looks much better!
The carpets were fitted on Friday!!!!!!
Sadly the carpet fitters must have stuck a staple or nail through a wire though because the lights upstairs stopped working halfway through the fitting… So now it’s a challenge to try to find out where the issue is and sort it… 🙄
Sunday the plumber came and fitted all of the remaining appliances, this was such an amazing day, now we can have the heating on and have a shower!!! It’s an actual home!!!!!
I’ll be doing the last bits of painting this week, woodwork, painting some boxing, a few doors. We also need to finish changing the silicone around the windows and fill and sand a few holes, then we can move in!!!!
Move in date is scheduled for Sunday so I’d better get packing!!!!!! Fingers crossed the lighting can be fixed by then….
