Painting complete!

Yay!! After 6 days of constant painting I’ve finished all of the walls!!

We only needed 5 and a bit tins of the Farrow and Ball paint so we have some left over for touching up and areas after the kitchen installation, furniture deliveries etc

So happy with the colour 😍

It’s so good to see how much progress we’ve made…

Artex ceilings = gone, relocated the boiler, carpets removed ready for new ones, walls knocked down & rebuilt, all walls & ceilings plastered, all walls & ceilings painted, spotlight wiring in place, woodwork sanded down

This weekend I’ll be painting the existing woodwork in white satinwood, there’s not much, just the windowsills, a couple of doors, doorframes, skirting up both flights of stairs & the skirting in the loft room.

I’ll also order the new skirting & architraves so we can get painting those too, I think we will do one coat, then do the 2nd coat once they’re actually fixed in place.

I think that’s all for now… We’ve begun ordering the appliances for the kitchen so that they arrive in time for fitting, that’s scheduled in for week commencing 21st September which seems ages away but I’m sure it will fly by!! Very exciting!!!
